Oao Sushi Go

Our friend Dennis took my husband and I to this amazing food truck when we visited Maui last month. Even our 1 year old boy was enjoying Unagi bowl we got. Spicy Tuna Poke Bowl: Fresh tuna in a spicy marinade over seasoned sushi rice, topped with cucumber, avocado, and a soy drizzle. Flavor-packed and refreshing! Unagi Bowl: Grilled eel glazed with a sweet-savory sauce on flavorful sushi rice, garnished with pickled ginger and scallions. Rich, smoky, and satisfying! Definitely the BEST SUSHI on MAUI! Im addicted to the seafood dynamite and the Haleakala Roll with Baked Salmon and California Roll all rolled into one mouth watering excellent experience. With the Grand Opening they had 50%off on 12/8/24 and the line went around the building of Spectrum. It was the best experience with all kinds of prizes. The staff was so friendly and the owners Jerwin & JR Oao greeted all of us and came out from the Sushi Bar. The Lime Cilantro Salad was perfect with my sushi. Hot Green tea was delicious. They also had pog juice (passion,orange,guava)for the kids. The staff is super friendly and fun! They have a delicious lunch menu and the sushi so onolicious and FRESH. I’m coming back next week!

Oyster shooters, salmon karaage, baked Haleakala, unagi nigiri were just some of the food that my family and I ordered, I could have took more photos but after that first bite I didn’t get a chance to take more photos, they were soooo delicious! They also have happy hour so I ate a lot of sushi that night. 10/10 recommend this sushi place

Oao Sushi Go has become one of my go-to sushi spots in Maui! Their fish is always fresh, you can really taste the quality. I’ve already been here three times, and I’ll definitely keep coming back. If you’re looking for a solid sushi spot in Maui, you guys should definitely try this place it never disappoints!

The fish here is unbelievably fresh. Although there’s not a lot of space inside, the wait wasn’t terribly long for lunch. They also have outdoor seating. The prices here are a lot more affordable than their other restaurant, OAO sushi, so perfect for lunch. This was my first time trying their chirashi bowl, and in my opinion, it was definitely more worth it than ordering the sashimi a la carte.

Service was amazing and super fast. We went a little before the dinner rush so I’m not sure if it gets busy later. Sushi is some of the best on the island. We had the 69, crunchy dragon, spicy salmon, spicy scallop, and spicy tuna rolls

An absolutely delightful spot that I somehow discovered for the very first time - even after visiting Maui so many times before. The menu is wonderfully varied, featuring portions made with incredibly fresh ingredients. Even the ginger was remarkably fresh and juicy, adding a perfect little spark of zest to my nigiri. The edamame? Simply magical—cooked to perfection! Overall, I truly loved everything and can’t recommend this sushi haven enough to anyone who appreciates authentic Japanese cuisine.
